Health Ministry's Updates on COVID-19 - January 24

Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 7,691 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,258,181.

Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 21 patients since Monday noon, raising the overall death toll to 132,251.

So far, 6,082,759 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.

It said 1,222 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.

It noted that 44,138,128 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.

60,513,855 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 53,651,657 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Some 14,856,764 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
