Health Ministry's Updates on COVID-19 - January 14

Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 2,539 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,217,320.

Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 24 patients since Friday noon, raising the overall death toll to 132,026.

So far, 6,060,680 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.

It said 1,409 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.

It noted that 43,245,362 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.

60,269,896 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 52,018,325 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Some 11,974,000 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
