Health Ministry's Updates on COVID-19 - January 13

Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 2,394 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,214,781.

Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 30 patients since wednesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 132,002.

So far, 6,058,586 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.

It said 1,462 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.

It noted that 43,069,904 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.

60,251,217 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 52,974,192 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Some 11,745,289 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
