Health Ministry's Updates on COVID-19 - November 23

Iran’s Health Ministry has confirmed 5,144 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 6,088,009.

Health Ministry said that the virus has killed 132 patients since Tuesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 129,177.

So far, 5,807,089 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.

It said 3,386 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.

It noted that 37,996,904 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.

57,944,774 Iranians have received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine and 45,382,073 people have so far received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Some 833,605 people have received the third dose of the COVID19 vaccine.
