Health Ministry's Updates on COVID-19 - April 14

Iran’s Health Ministry spokeswoman has confirmed 25,582 new cases of COVID-19 infection in 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 2,143,749.

In a press briefing on Wednesday, Sima-Sadat Lari said the virus has killed 304 patients since Wednesday noon, raising the overall death toll to 65,359.

So far, Lari added, 1,739,002 patients have recovered from the disease or been discharged from the hospital.

Lari said 4,539 patients are also in critical conditions caused by more severe infection.

The spokeswoman noted that 13,964,570 COVID-19 tests have been taken across the country so far.
