A senior Iranian official has expressed gratitude to all those working in the field of emergency medical aid for the services they offer people.

Mahmoud Vaezi, the chief of staff of the president, described the medical staff as tireless.

“The existence of indefatigable emergency personnel is a blessing for the health of society,” he said in a message, congratulating medical emergency staff on National Medical Emergency Day.

“Undoubtedly, emergency personnel are known as individuals who people can rely on, and they have an outstanding role in helping hose harmed in accidents,” he added.

Since coronavirus broke out in the country, Iranian emergency centres have played a pivotal role in offering services to COVID-19 patients.
